Window weavings
Two woven pieces - one in each window of my corner studio.
The works are made from natural materials such as jute and grass to create simple weavings with a sculptural feel.
Hung in windows they take on a transparency and lightness.
In the main window the piece is made using pheasant grass from Archbishops Park and linen yarn. In the smaller side window the piece is made from jute an apple branch and a strip of walnut dyed yarn.
