DX September Artist Meetup : Artists Who Curate 

Join us for a lively discussion exploring the world of artists who curate exhibitions and projects. As part of the contemporary art ecosystem, artists’ curated projects are often innovative artistically and inventive due to the limited resources available, whether that is budgets, venues or marketing. Some artists curate as part of their creative practice, while others may choose this for independence or out of necessity. Come to hear and share experiences with other artists who have curated projects.

Guest Speaker – Kineret Lourie is a London based artist and curator, operating through highly collaborative and performative exhibition making practice. She is the founder and director of chemist, an artist led gallery in SE London alongside Ariel Caine, and she teaches in Goldsmiths fine art program.
