Deptford X is a ground-breaking event offering two weeks and two days of the best contemporary visual art in London, all within easy walking distance of Deptford High St. We invite you to take a closer look at a location increasingly respected for its impressive network of artists, galleries, art colleges and studios. There are over 30 venues, with more than 30,000 Sq. Ft. of exhibition space to visit, accompanied by many hours of live performance, music, dance and talks. 

 

There are fourteen exhibitions to visit, eleven live events, nineteen site-specific projects, and 5 open studio weekends. There are 100’s of artists involved in the event, and whether you consider yourself a connoisseur, someone who simply ‘knows what they like’, a culture vulture or a casual weekend visitor, you are sure to find something that will make you think and give you pleasure.
