What are you reading at the moment?

‘Underland’ by Robert Macfarlane and ‘This changes everything’ by Naomi Klein (why can’t I read one book at a time?)

What does a typical day look like for you?

No such thing as a typical day. An ideal day would include a swim or a walk, some time in the studio, some time on the allotment, a meal with friends.

Describe your studio/workspace

Light and airy. Everything has its place but it’s still untidy. I think order is more important then tidiness

Where do your best ideas come from?

Walking.

If Tate called you tomorrow and invited you to make work for the Turbine Hall, what would it be?

A giant allotment. We are all too disconnected from where our food comes from.
