Special Preview/Opening Event – Friday 22 September at 7pm.
The work seeks to reflect on the invisible labour of both parenting and online content creation. It uses a social media format to articulate the hidden emotional labour or anxiety of parenting AKA the “motherload” – the additional work undertaken, principally by mothers, in managing a household and maintaining harmonious familial relationships.
