Dirty Pink is an installation by Gill Roth. Roth’s fragmented figures, truncated torsos and rebellious limbs combine humour with an inner tension. They twitch with repressed energy in a defiant attempt to hold themselves together. There is a potential for menace or threat, but it is undercut with fun.
