FREE schools tours of 2019 Deptford X festival on Friday 25th October

Deptford X festival is offering local schools, free tours of this year’s festival during a dedicated schools day before the public launch of the festival. On Friday 25th October, from 10am with the last tour leaving at 3pm.

The tours have been written by Hayward Gallery tour guide and Tate learning assistant, Phillipa Ellis and are suitable for ages 4 – 16. We can accommodate a time to suit you but availability of the tours is first come, first served. If you would like to join a tour and bring your class to see this year’s festival while the venues are closed to the general public, please contact to arrange.

Dates and other ways to be involved

There is A Parade of Friendly Monsters on Sunday 3rd November at 12 – 2pm in Deptford and we are also running free drop in costume-making workshops at Deptford Lounge on Sunday 27th October and Saturday 2nd November from 11am – 3pm.

We have daily family-friendly tours at 2pm every day during the festival excluding Monday 28th October. These are also free and will meet at the Deptford X Hub on Brookmill Road.
