“During this difficult time it is important that the people we support who have learning disabilities/autism stay active mentally and physically while maintaining social distancing. It is Aurora Options staff’s job to support people to stay safe, keep busy, healthy and stay happy. Weekly since lockdown, I have been designing activity packs for our supported living services and for Cardmaking which is a Day Service activity. One of our activities was to design StaySafe Rainbows to put up in the windows of people’s homes” — Safiye Lawrence, Aurora Options.
