Community Volunteering

Our friends at Lewisham Local are doing an amazing job coordinating a community response to the Covid-19 crisis in partnership with Voluntary Service LewishamAge UK Lewisham & Southwark and Lewisham Council. Visit their website to sign up to volunteer or to access services if you are in need.

You can also find a locally run groups via the Mutual Aid network here: Covid-19 Mutual Aid

We strongly encourage artists to check out the amazing #artistsupportpledge hashtag on Instagram. Artists put work up for sale and each time they make £1000 in sales they honour the pledge by buying artwork from another artist for £200. It’s a great opportunity to sell or buy work while also supporting artists’ livelihoods. Our director has been spending all her money on this of late!

For those of you with children to entertain/educate, we recommend the home art school @down_up_down_up by artists Rosalie Schweiker, Ben Messih and Sadie St Hilaire, courtesy of our pals over at Goldsmiths CCA.
