DX Meet-Ups 2023
Meet-Ups announced and tickets available!
Join us at DX Meet-Ups
If you’d like to chat about your Fringe project, meet other local artists, offer up your space as a Fringe venue, or become a volunteer, come down to one of our next Meet-Ups. Throughout the series, you can:
- Learn more about Deptford X Fringe – what it means to be part of the Fringe, how to apply, chat through support available, advice on venues to approach, talk through projects.
- Get to know other local artists, community groups, and creatives
- Share your thoughts on the sort of support you would want as a Fringe artist and shape the way the Fringe works.
- Pair your artwork up with a prospective venue, or vice versa.
- Find out about volunteering with us, offering up space at your venue and how else you can help out.
This year, the Meet-Ups dates are:
Tues 6th June, 1-2pm, online: Introduction and information for artists, volunteers and venues. This will take place on Zoom and will be recorded for our website. Free tickets available here.
Tues 13th June, 1-6pm, Deptford Lounge, The Library: Drop-in surgery providing information for artists, volunteers and venues. No tickets required, just come along!
Tues 20th June, 6-7:30pm, Lewisham Arthouse: Find out more about volunteering with us and meet-up with others as part of the Deptford X community. Tickets available here.
Tues 4th July, 6-8pm, Badger Badger: Matchmaking for potential artists and venues. Find out where you can situate your work, or which artists’ work would fit your venue. Tickets available here.
Tues 18th July, 1-2pm, online: Last minute info for submitting artists, and Q&A for all others looking to be involved. Tickets available here.
The Fringe Meet-Ups are all free to attend. If you are unable to register for a ticket, please just turn up on the day. More information about locations will be posted on social media and on our website very soon.
