Festival Commissions
The Festival Commissions are new works or stagings specific to the context of Deptford X
All projects are open on festival days from 12 – 6pm and until 9pm on Fridays, unless otherwise stated.
Deptford X 2022 presents seven new, major commissions from artists Jelili Atiku, Ibiye Camp, collaborative duo Assia Ghendir and Puer Deorum, Nnena Kalu, Barbara Majek, Yeu-Lai Mo and Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck.
Barbara Majek, Yeu-Lai Mo, and Assia Ghendir and Puer Deorum are part of Deptford X Supported; an open call programme for BPOC artists based in the London Borough of Lewisham. This year, the jury for Supported was; Funmi Adewole Elliott, Phoebe Collings-James, Annis Harrison, Karl Ohiri and Jason W H Page.
