Threads
The exhibition explores the use of thread in the creation of art works by four artists, looking both at it’s physical and symbolic/ metaphorical qualities.
Four artists show new work exploring the concept and the physicality of thread in response to the site of the 1831 digital embroidery shop on Resolution Way. The thread becomes the common point between the four artists diverse practises: encompassing drawing, painting, sculpture and performance to explore thread and it’s multiple possibilities.
