The Myth of Deptford in Paint
A series of Paintings looking at the Myth of the People of Deptford.
Deptford is changing like it always has, but there is a collective identity here, within the myth and perspective of each local – forming many faces of deptford. These oil paintings are my own version of this myth, rich and earthy in colour, of figures you might pass on the street.
