Residual Yeast
Residual Yeast is a solo exhibition that uses SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture Of Bacterial Yeast).
Residual Yeast’ contains two uses of the fleshy, juicy and beige SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture Of Bacterial Yeast). SCOBY grows first as a skin on top of a fermenting fluid and becomes thicker and thicker over time. It is used predominantly to create the fizzy probiotic health beverage named Kombucha.
