Announcing our six 'Residencies at Home' projects
Announcing our six ‘Residencies at Home’ projects
Back in June we asked artists, writers, thinkers and creatives, for whom ‘normal’ doesn’t serve, to think through the question ‘how to be together again’ and to propose a month-long research project that drew lines between pre-pandemic structural violences and post-pandemic desires and fears.
After a very long deliberation, we have selected six artists and collaborations to form our ‘How to be together again – Residencies at Home’ cohort. The artists we have selected all have an incredibly unique point of view that is personal to each of them and we hope that you enjoy following their research journey. For more details on each project click on the name of the artist(s) in the list below.
Whilst there is no expectation for our artists to produce a specific outcome from these residencies, we do hope to be able to share their thoughts, research and drafts of work in progress with you in a discursive and public way via our online platforms and online events.
Each person/group will run their residency over a specific month. We will begin August with Ashleigh & Gabi and Linett Kamala.
Congratulations to all of our artists:
