Sahra Hersi
Learning from failure
In this session artist, architect and social practitioner Sahra Hersi shares what she has learnt through professional failures and how they have strengthened her support structures and social practice. For participants who are interested in social practice / art in public realm / or who want to find out more about a career in these areas.
Session participants are invited to talk their experience of a “failure” that was turned around, or about what they would do career-wise if failing were not possible.
Sahra Hersi graduated from the Royal College of Art Architecture programme in 2017. Her practice explores shared spaces, the public realm, collaboration and community engagement. Her work is often born out of engaging with local communities and the spaces they occupy.
