Fish, Birds, Fingers and Other Things
With reference to an extract of the script for Alejandro Jodorowsky’s 1973 film, Holy Mountain, a cornucopia of material and matter fills a temporary greenhouse situated in the natural surroundings of St. Nicholas Church. The collaborative exhibition uses storytelling, humour and intuitive methods of creation to reflect on the human condition and current environmental/spiritual and socio-political crises. The result is an uncanny environment which doesn’t strive to make sense.
