Life size portrait on floating translucent cloth, part of a photographic project addressing ageing and unconditional commitment.
The work explores the life of a 60 year old mattress and the artist’s nonagenarian parents who married in Our Lady of the Assumption Church (Deptford High Street) in 1955. The photographic series is part of a broader research project supported by The Arts Council of England.
