Pandora's (Higher) Orders

Deptford Lounge, 9 Giffin St, SE8 4RJ

A macro charm bracelet responding to symbolic thought as a driver of culture. With bronze flip flop 'charms' trailed like footprints left by our early human ancestors it makes for a subtle suggestion to our timeless trait as storytellers. The work offers a hand ‘foot' for new connections through our bigger human story.

When Versailles Got Hung Out To Dry, 2018

A sculptural installation responding to personal green space now normalised as an identical, pocket-sized flat balcony. Situated in Seagar Gallery, itself within a new build embellished with these ‘gardens', the intentions behind the work’s unexpected material combinations/micro proportions become more transparent.

Ikea furniture and refreshments included.
